The NHS Global Fellowship Programme is a part of the Global Health Unit in NHS England which aims to strengthen health systems and services in England and across the world through international exchanges. We work with partners to plan, educate, and train an international health workforce. The Global Health Unit’s strategy focuses at three different levels:
- Individual NHS staff members: improving the availability and quality of global learning opportunities for NHS staff
- NHS systems and organisations: development of globalised workforce solutions including new migration programmes
- Global partners: opportunities to collaborate with the NHS on shared challenges
