As part of the Working for Health 2030 (W4H-2030) programme, NHS England (NHSE) and the World Health Organization (WHO) worked in collaboration to run four open access seminars. These quarterly seminars consisted of panel discussions attended by international thought leaders in workforce strengthening. The seminars :
- Highlight key theoretical and technical knowledge required to develop effective workforce plans for a modern health care system to thrive.
- Demonstrate how systems and organisations need to develop to enable the development of workforce plans and act.
- Provide insights into how individuals and teams can exercise influence through workforce planning and transformation practices
- Be informed by practical experience.
The online seminar content is now made freely available following the event, and can be found via the menu to the right.
Seminars were 1-2 hours long, including up to five keynote speakers with UK and international healthcare systems expertise.
